Shen Changyu and Director General of GCC Patent Office Hold a Bilateral Talk

On the afternoon of July 10, during the Sixty-Fifth Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), held a bilateral talk with Ahmed Almarshadi, Director General of the Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).

Shen congratulated Almarshadi on his appointment as Director General of the GCC Patent Office and highlighted the fruitful exchanges and cooperation between the two offices since 2006 in areas including personnel training, patent search and examination services, and information exchange. Shen expressed his hope for continued efforts from both sides to further consolidate and deepen the cooperation.

Almarshadi expressed his gratitude to the CNIPA for inviting him to the Third High-level Conference on Intellectual Property for Countries Along the "Belt and Road".
